EduTech Guide ("we", "us", "our") is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personally identifiable information ("Personal Information").
As a Calgary-based entity, our privacy practices are governed by the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Alberta and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Under PIPA, we collect and use information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. These include:

- Legitimate Interests: To improve our educational content and ensure website security.
4. Data Retention
Personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the identified purposes or as required by law.
If you use our "Prompt Engineering Guide" or "Implementation Data" tools, logs are kept for a maximum of 24 months to analyze educational trends before being anonymized.
5. Third-Party Transfers & Cross-Border Data
EduTech Guide does not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers (such as cloud hosting or AI API providers) who assist in our operations.
Note that some of our service providers may be located outside of Alberta or Canada (e.g., in the United States). Consequently, your personal information may be processed and stored in other jurisdictions and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, including laws regarding the disclosure of personal information to government authorities.
